Delete Generic Asset Template

To delete a template, you need respective roles and permissions. Also, you can delete only the templates that are not assigned to an asset. Perform the following steps to delete a Generic template:

1. Go to APM Model Configuration and Deployment > APM Foundation.

2. Click Template Definition.

3. Click Generic Template.

4. Click button under Action column, in the row of the template which you want to delete. Delete Confirmation dialog box appears.

   Delete icon is enabled only if you are the creator of that particular system template.

5. Click Continue.

   You cannot delete the system templates if the status is Active, Pending for Review or Pending for Approval.
